Strong Makes X Games History With Front Flip

Front Flip Lands Strong Moto X Best Trick Gold

Australia's Jackson Strong inked his name in the X Games history books
Thursday night as he landed the first frontflip during Moto X Best
Trick. The move earned Strong a gold medal in what was only his second
appearance at X Games.

"I was going to be pumped whether I took first or last place, it was
just my goal to do a front flip at X Games," Strong said. "I think
everyone saw how deep I had to dig. I had to hang on tight for that
landing for sure."

Strong led the way for an Australian sweep of the Moto X Best Trick
podium with Cameron Sinclair taking X Games silver with a sweetly
executed knack-knack double backflip. The bronze medal went to Josh
Sheehan who also landed a double backflip.

"I worked super hard for X Games because I've always wanted a gold medal
and this is the best feeling in the world," Strong continued.

In Moto X Best Trick riders compete in a best of two run format, with the best of their two scores counting in the end.
