Scottsdale, Arizona (November 8, 2009) With over 50 National wins, 6 ISDE gold medals and an AMA National Enduro Championship, Steve and his wife Denise have been successfully running Steve Hatch Racing (SHR) for the last 4 years mentoring, coaching and training a wide range of riders in all the different disciplines of motorcycle racing and riding. Combining his determination with his old Suzuki team managers’ drive, Steve has joined forces once again with Charles Halcomb to pursue the successes he enjoyed under Halcomb’s tutelage. “Not that Steve needs my help with training because everyone knows his fitness has always been second to none, but he is so busy with the whole SHR program that he hasn’t had the time to really market it in today’s economy. We figured what the heck, lets go back to basics as our relationship has always been great and it is just a pleasure to be reunited with Steve & Denise”, says Charles. Steve’s proven success is evident with riders he has worked with such as Taylor Robert (winner of the last WORCS event of the year in NV), Kailub Russell (Champion of the XC2 class in the GNCC) and Nate Kanney (Winner of the last GNCC in Indiana) as SHR’s effectiveness is very evident in two of the toughest off road series in the country.

According to Steve, "Charles has always been a huge mentor to my racing career from the very beginning! When he hired me at 19 years old to ride for Suzuki I had no idea of the positive impact he would provide throughout my racing and my life. He was the one who really introduced me to training. I still remember the first time he almost killed me on a stair master (1 hour wide open) and since that day I have been inspired to use training as a huge advantage during my entire off-road career. Now it is my turn to help to mentor, coach and train riders that have the same goals and dreams I had. I am so passionate about watching the riders become the best they can be in racing and in life! I am excited that Charles is going to help us take SHR to the next level!”

Late note: Just added to Steve's roster of students, Ryan Sipes!
