Star Racing/Lucas Oil/Yamaha Orlando SX Race Recap

Over the weekend Star Racing/Lucas Oil/Yamaha and our lone rider, Broc Tickle all focused in deeply at the task of turning the tables and grabbing a finish back up front. Round four of the AMA Supercross series took place in Orlando, Florida with ever changing track conditions due to a sandy, but somewhat slick soil. Here is the play by play…

In heat one, Tickle started well up inside the top six and maintained a pace that helped separate himself together with the real contenders. The race kept a drama free scene, which allowed BT75 to move up into 3rd by races end. Unfortunately, during the race a rookie mistake of jumping part of a triple jump under caution flags, forced the track officials to dock Broc two positions.

The main event blasted off, and Tickle had salvaged a decent start in 10th, but the race was red flagged due to a big pileup. On the next go around, Tickle didn’t fare so well sitting in 14th.  By lap two you could visibly see good things coming with Tickle charging, then abruptly the rider just in front of the Lucas Oil backed Yamaha crashed and collected #75 in one swoop. However, Tickle did remount, head to the mechanics area to make some adjustments, and soldier on throughout the entire race in 19th.

Well times have been tough, but the team is striving to settle our rookies nerves so his talents don’t go unseen to much longer.

Star Racing thanks everyone for the continued effort.
