MORGANTOWN, W.V. (September 2, 2009) - On the eve of the final round of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Steel City, the pre-event Monster Energy Fan Fest will provide motocross fans in Western Pennsylvania a unique chance to get a rare sneak peek of the following day's racing action, as well as the chance to meet many of the stars of the series in a laid back and open setting.

Riders and teams who will take part in the event include JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha along with team riders Cody Cooper and Christian Craig as well as Factory Yamaha and the series' most recent winner Matt Goerke. Joining these athletes will be a few of the stars of the Women's Motocross Class of the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship, as well 250 Class points leader Ryan Dungey, who is scheduled to sign autographs beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Additionally, courtesy of series sponsor Dunlop Tires, Trials legend and National Champion Geoff Aaron will be performing a special demonstration on both Friday night (scheduled for 5 p.m.) as well as during the races on Saturday. Aaron's performances are always a major hit with fans, and his riding abilities are amazing to watch.

Gates open at 4 p.m. ET and all fans are welcome to attend free of charge and take advantage of their chance to get up close and personal with the stars of the sport. Hundreds of cutting-edge and factory-built motocross bikes will be on display, and there is no telling who might make an appearance. The event will also feature pit bike racing and a free concert, courtesy of the Official Band of Motocross, Ten Man Push.
