SRT Motorsports --Dodge AMA Supercross Post-Race Quotes -- Seattle

TYLER BOWERS (No. 36 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki) Finished 16th

“Tonight
was OK.  I’m still trying to get use to the bike.  I got into the Main
and was riding in 12th, which was really surprising because I had such a
horrible start.  I just kept charging.  I got crossed up and went off
track into the tuff blocks.  I think I ended up 14th (16th), but it’s
not what I’m looking for.  I know if I get a little bit more time on the
bike and get things going I’ll get up into the top 10.”

WHERE
DO YOU THINK YOU NEED TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS?  “This track, it
doesn’t matter.   If I set the bike up for this track anywhere else it
wouldn’t work.  I just never got comfortable on the bike because
everything was new.  I was on a 450 and really moving my suspension
around a lot.  We’re going to go back this week and work on some stuff,
stiffen up the front-end a bit.  We’ll just go from there.  The main
thing is just getting more time on the 450 Hart and Huntington bike and
we’ll be good.  I only had two days on it this week.”

HOW
DO YOU FEEL HEALTH WISE?  “Good.  I’m not broken.  I’m feeling better
than the other guys on the team that’s for sure.  I did my job.  I came
in and got into the Main with these guys.  They were pumped to have me
in the Main Event.  I’m just glad I was able to make some people happy
and look to improve for next week.

HOW
HAS THE EXPERIENCE BEEN WITH HART AND HUNTINGTON SO FAR?  “It’s been
great.  There’s no pressure here.  I put more pressure on myself.  It’s
really serious here but everyone knows that if we put in the work we’re
going to have the results.

KYLE REGAL (No. 74 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki) Finished 17th
“I
had a good Heat race and made it into the Main.  I ran sixth in the
Heat and had a good gate pick; the same gate that I did in the Heat
race.  In the Main, I got a decent start and got landed on after the
first jump which bent my handle bar and clutch lever down and smashed my
hand up a little bit.  I was running about eighth and got into it with
another rider and lost all my rhythm.  From there I just had to ride the
race out.”
