JOSH HANSEN (No. 100 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki)
“I’m
excited to get back on the bike and put Atlanta behind me.  You just
have to put last week’s race in the rear-view mirror and do your best
this week to prepare for St. Louis.  I’m stoked to get there and race.
I’m just trying to make St. Louis a lot better than Atlanta for sure.”

WHAT
ARE YOU WORKING ON THIS WEEK IN PRACTICE?  “Mostly chassis stuff.
You’re always looking for more speed whether it’s from the rider or the
bike.”

WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING TO GET MORE SPEED?  “It’s a balance
of me being ready and fit once I’m on the bike and finding speed in our
Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki.  We
definitely can get the bike working better.  We’re always looking at
chassis stuff.  The rider has to be good.  The bikes have to be good.
 It’s the whole package.”

KYLE PARTRIDGE (No. 83 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki)
WHAT
ARE YOUR THOUGHTS HEADING INTO ST. LOUIS THIS WEEKEND?  “I’m hoping to
rebound after a tough ride last week at Atlanta.  Last weekend was just
one of those nights you want to forget about.  I didn’t ride well in the
Heat race and had to transfer into the Main through the LCQ (Last
Chance Qualifier).  Me and Josh (Hansen) just missed in the rhythm
section and our night was over.”

WHEN YOU HAVE A TOUGH NIGHT ON
THE BIKE AND STRUGGLE IN A CERTAIN SECTION, DOES YOUR PRE-RACE RIDE THIS
WEEK FOCUS ON CERTAIN OBSTACLE SECTIONS?  “Not for me.  I just try and
stick to my weekly practice routine.  I think as far as the obstacles
go, I don’t try and work on a particular section more than I would the
week prior.  I try to stick to the same routine and get comfortable on
the bike.  You can change your dry land training a bit, but as far as
the bike goes, nothing in particular will change.”
