SMS Racing KTM to power the Violation1.com/SheaRacing/Travisa/National Switchgear AMA Supercross team

The team will campaign on KTM “Ready to Race” machinery for the second-consecutive year

HOUSTON (December 22, 2011) – Shea
Racing is putting together another solid team to enter its fourth
Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM Championship, season in 2012.
Today, it’s proud to announce that SMS Racing KTM in Denton, Texas will
power the team by providing KTM 250SX-F motorcycles. Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/Travisa/National Switchgear will focus the 2012 season on the Eastern Region events of AMA Supercross, kicking off on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as well as the final round in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 5.

Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/Travisa/National
Switchgear had its best results in 2011 when it first campaigned on KTM
race bikes. Last season, the team gated 53 times, participated in 25
heats, raced 16 LCQ’s, and competed in 12 mains under the AMA Supercross
lights, all in the 250cc Lites Class in both East and West Regions.

‪‪"SMS racing KTM in Denton, Texas is proud to join forces with the Violation1.com/Shea Racing/Travisa/National
Switchgear AMA Supercross team,” said dealership owner Brian Storrie.
“Since day one, I have built SMS racing to follow KTM's motto of “Ready
to Race.” Last year, KTM USA awarded SMS racing with the top retail
sales dealer award for the southern United States
region. We achieved this honor while concentrating solely on racers in
the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In an effort to continue our growth, it’s
time to step to the next level by reaching a bigger audience through
Shea Racing. AMA Supercross is the best platform for any off-road
motorcycle dealership to spread awareness, and to give back to the sport
we love so much. SMS racing KTM has been looking for a partner to get
our feet wet, and now we found that in Shea Racing.”

The
team is in the process of finalizing agreements with athletes for the
Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250cc Lites East Region Class. Fans can
expect an announcement in early January.

"I'm
very excited to have SMS on board for the 2012 season,” said Tim Shea,
team manager. “Brian Storrie is amazing to work with. His deep knowledge
of engine building and pro racing will really step up our program. I
can't wait to see the new race bikes built by SMS Racing!"

Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/Travisa/National Switchgear will again
travel in a full-size semi rig that was outfitted for its AMA
Supercross team last season. The eye-catching purple and yellow team
hauler will travel to eight rounds; East Region Lites rounds with the
exception of Toronto and compete at the Las Vegas final.

Team Violation1.com/Shea Racing/National
Switchgear powered by SMS Racing will make its 2012 season debut at the
Monster Energy AMA Supercross East Region round opener on Saturday,
February 18, 2012 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. You can buy
