SHANE MCELRATH, PREPPING FOR HIS ROOKIE 450 SUPERCROSS SEASON

After finishing runner-up in the 250SX East Coast Supercross Championship and placing third in the Pro Motocross point standings in 2020, Shane McElrath has joined forces with MotoConcetps Honda in his first year on 450s. Shane is coming off his best year in the 250 class with the Star Racing Yamaha team and now with the help of Tony Alessi as team manager and teammates like Broc Tickle, Benny Bloss and Vince Friese, he will have plenty of help getting his feet wet in the premier class of Supercross. Shane is now full-speed ahead preparing for Round 1 of the Monster Energy Supercross series starting at Houston in January. We caught up with Shane out while he was testing his new bike and gear and he was open and honest with MXA’s Trevor Nelson while giving us insight into everything that he’s up to this offseason.
