Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Renews Contract as Title Sponsor of AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship for Another Three Years

Following a successful week at the Loretta Lynn Ranch, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is pleased to announce that it has renewed its contract to serve as the title sponsor of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL for an additional three years.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC’s first involvement as title sponsor began in 2014 with a three-year contract through 2016. Every year has been a success, producing some of the best performances of the amateur MX community each year. In these years, stars like Aaron Plessinger and Austin Forkner have graduated from Loretta’s and launched successful pro careers, while younger riders like Jett Reynolds and Jordan Bailey have earned prestige in the amateur ranks which they’ll hope to build upon in the future.

“The entire Loretta Lynn’s experience is incredible and one of the year’s highlights for numerous riders across the nation, young and old,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “We’re happy to continue to be a part of it by serving as the title sponsor.”

“The MX Sports team is honored that Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is committed to extending their relationship with the Loretta Lynn program,” said MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. “This extension will ensure that amateur motocross racers will continue to have the highest quality event in the world.”

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is proud to be able to give back to the motocross community by supporting this tremendous event. From its Race Gas gift card program leading up to the event to gifts, commemorative swag and free next-day shipping to the Ranch, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is committed to supporting all of the racers, families and friends of this great sport.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC’s renewed contract will see it serve as the title sponsor through the 2019 season. The 36th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships presented by AMSOIL will take place July 31 through August 5, 2017. For more information, visit www.MXSports.com.

About the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch is the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 55 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 13 Regional Championships (May through June), hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week of August) hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Nearly 22,000 racers attempt to qualify in 37 classes for the 1,482 available positions at the National. Christened “The World’s Greatest Motocross Vacation,” the National event serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey. The national program is produced by MX Sports, Inc., a West Virginia-based race production company, and sanctioned by the AMA. For more information, please visit www.MXSports.com.
