Rockstar/WBR/Suzuki Rolls Into Houston With A Mission

Byrne remains 4th in points

CHINO, CA - February 13, 2007 - Rockstar/WBR/Suzuki's Michael Byrne has, so far, been consistent throughout his 2007 Supercross Season, usually pulling between 4th and 6th place. Reliant Stadium proved to be another great ride for Burner as he cruised in and out of Houston in 4th place overall. 



"I am happy with my finish. It can always be better, but knowing the work that the team has put into this year, it is good. I am really adjusting to the bike and I am getting to the point where my comfort level is good on and off the track. If I can keep up with my finishes the way they have been, I am sure that it will pay off in the end," Byrne said. After finishing 4th in his heat and 6th in the main, he is right on track.



With Michael's determination aboard his Suzuki, he has shown the fans why the Rockstar/WBR/Suzuki Team is able to succeed. "We work well together as a good satellite team for Suzuki," said Byrne. "We have great support from the factory which allows us as riders to put those bikes out in front.

"

Team Manager Tony Sulek has high hopes for Byrne. "We are proud of Michael. He has adapted to the RM-Z450 fairly well and is keeping his consistency going week in and week out. We look forward to him putting it up on the box very soon!"



Troy Adams was stellar in his heat race with a 4th place finish, but is struggling with some frustrating situations after a 10th place finish in the main. He is positive though that it will all turn around. "Finishing in tenth place definitely isn't where I want to be," Adams remarked. "I am working on everything I can during the week, while trying to let my body heal at the same time. Things will turn around and I will start to get my RM-Z250 out where it should be…in front!"



Look for the team to finish out the California portion of the Amp'd Mobile Supercross Series in San Diego this weekend.
