Road 2 Recovery National Ride Day Returns to Meadowlarks MX Club September 20th


Scottsdale, AZ – Meadowlarks MX Club, in Amherst, Ohio will again be hosting the 2nd annual Road 2 Recovery Ride Day on Saturday September 20th. The event is being held to provide support for the ASMF/R2R Sports Medicine Unit.


There is still time to pre-register and receive a Road 2 Recovery T-Shirt, Wristband and Stickers. The minimum pledge is $1.00 per lap with a 10 lap minimum, and each rider must have a minimum of $25.00 in pledges to participate. Riders may also sign up on the day of the event and have until November 17th to get all their pledges in. For information and pre-registration visit www.r2rrideday.com. In addition to the prizes the Road 2 Recovery will be awarding, KTM along with Cycra , On The Edge MX Shop, Honda of Avon and the Carl Schlacht MX School have donated prizes that will be awarded throughout the day.


Some of the activities planned for the day are a Pit Bike Race, a Running Race with full gear on, a one lap Slow Race, and an Adaptive Ride Exhibition, along with free MX lessons by Carl Schlacht. Don’t miss a chance to grab some great prizes, while helping to support this worthwhile cause. All donations are tax deductible.


The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is dedicated to helping AMA licensed motocross and supercross professionals with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional and spiritual support to these individuals and their families.
