SAINT JEAN D’ANGELY (France), 4 June 2011 – Road 2 Recovery International foundation has expanded into Europe and they will make their first appearance this weekend during the Grand Prix of France. Two auctions including top teams’ racing gear, as well as many other surprises, will be organized this weekend in Saint Jean d’Angely for the people present at the event. On Saturday, right after the MX1 qualifying race, it will take place the first auction of the weekend. And on Sunday, after the MX1’s podium, there will be the final auction on the freestyle ramp, which will be placed next to the track. Everybody present at the French Grand Prix in Saint Jean d’Angely will be able go back home with their idol’s original gear having first contributed with a very solidary cause. These are some of the items, which will be available at the auction: - Monster Energy Yamaha’s racing gear from Gautier Paulin, including a pair of racing boots. - CLS Monster Energy Kawasaki’s racing gear from Ben Townley. - Kawasaki Racing Team’s complete race gears from Xavier Boog and Jonathan Barragán. - Red Bull Teka KTM Factory racing MX1’s racing gear from Antonio Cairoli. - Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing MX2’s racing gear from Ken Roczen, Jeffrey Herlings and Jeremy Van Horebeek. - Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1’s racing gear. - Honda World Motocross’ racing gear from Evgeny Bobryshev and Rui Gonçalves and signed number plates. - LS Motors Honda’s racing gears from Shaun Simpson and Ken De Dycker. - Bike-it Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha’s signed kit used in the USGP. - JM Racing’s riders shirts. - HM Plant Red Bull KTM UK’s team jacket, shirt and cap. - TM Racing Factory Racing’s gear from Tanel Leok. Road 2 Recovery’s new goal is to help licensed professional racers from the FIM Motocross World Championship with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries, as well as full emotional support. They will be present at every GP spreading out their message and finding cooperation among the Motocross community to keep on doing their extraordinary and challenging commitment.
