Press Release

Revised Schedule: Texas Winter Series Rd 3 Village Creek‏

January 24, 2012 (Fort Worth, Texas) -
Online registration is
open through 6pm Thursday, January 27th for Round 3 of the 12th Annual
Honda of Houston/FMF AMA Texas Winter Series at Village Creek MX Park.
With two rounds down and two more to go, riders continue to gather
points for their FMF class championships, FMF/Works Connection division
championships along with the Bell Golden Helmet award, the Renthal
Bronze Bar award and the Alpinestars Vet Horizon award.  The Texas
Winter Series also kicks off the AMA ProAm season at each round so
racing will be intense.

Terry
Cordray (Owner of Village Creek) has been redesigning the hillside for
a different feel for the Fort Worth track.  With rain forecasted
through Wednesday, the schedule is being revised to accommodate the
riders and their families.  "With factory contingency from all of the
OEM's, we must plan for those coming from near and far" said Tom
Shields, Marketing Director for the series.  "Village Creek has been
working hard the last two days to insure the water flows off the track
and out of the parking areas" Shields said.

"This
series has been the largest amateur series in Texas since 2006 and we
plan on giving everyone a well ran program" said Terry Cordray.  Mr.
Cordray went on to say, "we will schedule mini's early in the race
order to help them get back home.  The track is sealed up and we are
ready."

The forecast for the weekend is for beautiful, sunny skies with cool mornings in the 30's and highs around 60.  Check at www.FreestoneMX.com or the Freestone Facebook page for any further announcements or revisions.
