Press Release

RacerX To Host Supermoto Kingpins For "SupermotoBowl At The Morongo"

Cabazon, CA - November 2, 2007 - As if there wasn't already enough competitive juice flowing for Troy Lee's "Supermoto Mayhem at the Morongo", RacerX magazine will host a no-holds-barred bowling tournament dubbed the "RacerX SupermotoBowl" at Morongo's new state-of-the-art Canyon Lanes bowling facility. The tourney is open to both racers and fans in 5-person teams, who will grab their balls starting at 7pm on Thursday, Nov. 8th after the day's promoter practice.

"We're taking over the entire 24-lane facility - which is right in the middle of our "Mayhem" racetrack - for a fantastic and fun evening of bowling and bench racing with the stars," said Troy Lee Designs GM, Bob Weber. "You don't have to be a great bowler to participate ... all skill levels are welcome. We're anticipating a full house and we'll be lighting the whole thing off with our pre-event press conference."

It's a well established fact that supermoto racers (and their fans!) are great at knocking things down, perhaps even bowling pins. With that in mind, participants of every persuasion are encouraged to organize and pre-register their 5 person bowling teams before Nov. 8th. Tournament details and team applications are online at www.supermotomayhem.com (Click here to download an Entry Form).

"Red Bull has already entered their all-girl bowling team and they've thrown out a challenge for others, especially the pro racers, to come out and test their skills on the lanes," said Weber. "Of course our own Team TLD Honda Red Bull crew is in, and we encourage every factory team to don a pair of those ultra-stylish bowling shoes and see if they can out-score us!"

Troy Lee's "Supermoto Mayhem at the Morongo" is Southern California's last major motorcycle event of the year and a must-attend for all race fans. The final round of the 2007 AMA Pro Supermoto series will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2007, with the championship final occurring the next day on Sunday, November 11th. Preceding the weekend pro doubleheader, a promoter practice will kick things off on Thursday, November 8th, with a complete amateur race day on Friday, November 9th.
