Pro Taper’s Mullins Takes National Enduro Title

Corona,
CA
– Team AmPro/Obermeyer Yamaha’s Charlie Mullins secured the
2010 AMA National Enduro Championship this weekend at the final round
of the series in Indiana.

After
an unfortunate third round, which saw Mullins score zero points,
Charlie clawed himself back in to title contention by stringing
together five wins in a row. At the series finale Mullins was able to
ride to a consistent second place finish and take his first AMA
Enduro Championship. While under the watchful eye of seven-time AMA
National Enduro Champion Randy Hawkins, Mullins put his
AmPro/Obermeyer Yamaha on the top step of the podium at six of the
ten rounds in his rookie season.

Pro
Taper would like to congratulate Charlie and the entire AmPro Yamaha
race team on their recent accomplishments and look forward to
continuing the success through the remaining GNCC events.
