CORONA, Calif., (September 6, 2012) - The penultimate round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held this past Saturday at the Steel City National in Delmont, Pa. Pro Circuit’s Blake Baggett nailed down a 4-4 finish for fourth overall, which allowed him to maintain his double-digit points lead in the 250 class as he embarks on the championship-deciding final round this Saturday at the Lake Elsinore National.

In the 450 class, Pro Circuit’s Jake Weimer and Tyla Rattray finished fourth and fifth overall, respectively. Weimer is currently fourth overall in 450 point standings. Rattray sits 14th overall after sitting out most of the season due to injury. Pro Circuit’s Broc Tickle was unable to finish the first 450 moto, but finished fifth in the second moto, which gave him 12th overall at Steel City. Tickle is currently fifth overall in 450 point standings.

Pro Circuit riders are now making their way to the final round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which will be held this Saturday, September 8, at the Lake Elsinore National in Lake Elsinore, Calif.

Round 14 of the FIM World Motocross Championship was held this past weekend at the GP of Benelux in Lierop. Pro Circuit’s Tommy Searle finished 4-4 for fourth overall in MX2. Searle is currently second overall in MX2 point standings. Pro Circuit’s Christophe Pourcel was unable to finish the first MX1 moto, and did not race the second moto, due to a small fracture in his shoulder that was discovered shortly before arriving at Lierop. Pourcel is currently fourth overall in MX1 point standings.



Pro Circuit riders are now preparing for the 15th round of the 2012 FIM World Motocross Championship, which will take place this weekend at the GP of Europe, in Faenza.
