2012 FIM World Motocross Championship
GP of Belgium, Bastogne: Searle Wins MX2!

The GP of Belgium in Bastogne was host to the eighth round of the 2012 FIM World Motocross Championship this past weekend. Team Floride’s Tommy Searle qualified fourth in MX2, but a 2-1 finish in the first and second motos allowed him to add another overall victory to his collection! He is currently 24 points out of the lead in MX2 point standings. Teammate Joel Roelants qualified eighth, and a 4-5 finish put him at fourth overall. He is currently fourth overall in MX2 point standings. In MX1, Team CP377’s Christophe Pourcel qualified in the 11th place spot, and a 5-2 finish put him on the podium with a third overall. He is currently third overall in MX1 point standings, and is only six points out of the second-place spot. Teammate Sebastien Pourcel qualified 18th in MX1, and an 8-11 finish put him at ninth overall. He is currently 15th in MX1 point standings.

The 2012 FIM World Motocross Championship will take this weekend off before it heads to the GP of Sweden in Uddevalla next weekend. Now at its halfway mark, there are eight races left in the series before champions are crowned in both MX1 and MX2. Be on the lookout for Pro Circuit’s Tommy Searle, Joel Roelants, Christophe Pourcel, and Sebastien Pourcel as they battle it out in the remaining rounds!

Budds Creek National, Mechanicsville, Md.: Baggett Wins 250! Tickle Grabs 450 Podium!

The fifth round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held at the Budds Creek National in Mechanicsville, Md. this past weekend. It was a shining moment for the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team, as Blake Baggett claimed his second 250 overall victory this season, and teammate Broc Tickle earned a career-first second overall in the 450 class. Baggett stretched out his points lead a bit more, and is currently 13 points ahead of second in 250 point standings. Tickle is currently sixth overall in 450 point standings. Congratulations to both riders!

The 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will now take a two-week break before headings to the sixth round of the series, which will be held at the RedBud National in Buchanan, Mich. on July 7.

The legendary event will run from June 22 through July 1, and Pro Circuit Race Support is standing by to assist all riders with their race needs.
