CORONA, Calif., (June 7, 2012) – The podium was a familiar place for Pro Circuit riders this past weekend at the third round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, held at the Toyota Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer grabbed second overall in the 450 class and is currently second in 450 point standings, while Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett earned second overall in the 250 class and still holds on to the 250 points lead. Also notable was Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle, who earned his first 450 race podium. Tickle currently sits ninth overall in 450 point standings. Star Valli Yamaha's Nico Izzi was also impressive as he grabbed fourth overall in the 450 class, and sits eighth overall in 450 point standings. Pro Circuit riders now make their way to the fourth round of the series, which will be held at the High Point National this Saturday, June 9, in Mt. Morris, Pa.

Pro Circuit Christophe Pourcel
Team CP377's Christophe Pourcel grabbed second overall in MX1 at the GP of France in St. Jean d'Angely.

The Pro Circuit crew made the trek to the GP of France, held in St. Jean d’Angely, this past weekend for the sixth round of the 2012 FIM World Motocross Championship. In MX1, Team CP377’s Christophe Pourcel claimed a victory in the qualifying race, and finished 3-2 in the motos to take home second overall. He currently sits second overall in MX1 point standings. Teammate Sebastien Pourcel qualified sixth, and took home an 11-6 finish for eighth overall. Sebastien is currently 17th overall in MX1 point standings.

Pro Circuit Tommy Searle
Team Floride's Tommy Searle earned second overall in MX2.

In MX2, Team Floride’s Tommy Searle also nailed down a qualifying race victory. After finishing third in moto one, he dominated in moto two and took home yet another moto win. The 3-1 finish gave him second overall in France, and he is second overall in MX2 point standings. Teammate Joel Roelants finished eighth in the MX2 qualifying race, and followed it up with a 4-4 finish in the motos. His results put him fourth overall in France, and he is currently fourth overall in MX2 point standings.

The Pro Circuit guys now make their way to the GP of Portugal, which will be held in Aguenda this weekend. Christophe and Sebastien Pourcel are currently second and 17th overall, respectively, in MX1 point standings. Searle and Roelants are currently second and fourth overall, respectively, in MX2 point standings.
