Pro Circuit riders continued to impress at the second round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship’s grueling 12-round series, which was held at the Freestone National in Wortham, Texas this past weekend.

In the 250 class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett nailed down a 2-2 finish and stretched his points lead to 14 points. Teammate Ivan Tedesco faced some first-turn crash challenges, but still managed to finish 11th overall and remains in top-ten territory in the 250 class point standings. Star Valli Yamaha’s Kyle Cunningham finished tenth overall, and is currently eighth overall in 250 point standings.

In the 450 class, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer had a 3-6 finish, giving him fourth overall. He is currently fourth overall in 450 point standings. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle started the day strong with a seventh-place finish in moto one. A DNF in moto two plagued his chances for another top-ten finish, but he still ended the weekend with a 14th overall and is currently eighth overall in 450 point standings. Star Valli Yamaha’s Nico Izzi and Ryan Sipes finished ninth and tenth overall, respectively, and are 10th and 14th overall in 450 point standings. The Pro Circuit crew now makes its way to the third round of the series, which will be held at the Toyota Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo., this Saturday June 2.
