MX Heads to Colorado
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett, Broc Tickle, and Ivan Tedesco are making their way to the third round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which will be held at the Toyota Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo., this Saturday, June 2. Baggett will work on extending his 14-point lead in the 250 class, while Tedesco and Tickle will go to battle in their respective classes in an attempt to make up valuable championship points after a rough go at last week’s race in Texas.

Baggett Feeling Confident
Baggett currently has a 14-point lead in the 250 class, and is looking to stretch that lead out even more this weekend at Thunder Valley. We’ve heard nicknames to the likes of El Chupacabra, Shake’N’Bake, The Comeback Kid, and Air Baggett so far, and there’s no telling what other titles will be bestowed upon him in the weeks to come.

“I’m ready for Colorado for sure,” said Baggett. “We get to do press day and will get a little riding in. This track has been god to me in the past, so I just want to make it a good weekend.”

Tedesco Looking Forward to Colorado
Tedesco is looking to rebound this weekend at Thunder Valley after first-turn crashes plagued last weekend’s race in Texas. He still sits in the top-ten in the 250 class point standings despite the Texas results. Thunder Valley has been good to him in the past, and he’s hoping that history will make for a successful weekend.

“Freestone was a rough one for me,” said Tedesco. “I went down in the first turn in both motos and had to charge through all day. Looking forward to Colorado, I’ve had some good races at that track, and want to keep that streak going.”

Tickle Wants a Rebound
Tickle started Freestone strong with a seventh-place finish in the first 450 moto, but a DNF in moto two left him with fewer points than he had hoped for. He is looking to rebound this weekend at Thunder Valley, and plans on making up as many championship points as possible.
