Press Release

PanicRev Ministries Lake Whitney / Oak Hill Results and Updates

Hacienda Heights, CA – PanicRev Ministries is proud to announce team rider Travis Baker captures his first amateur championship at the Lake Whitney Amateur National. Travis won the 450 B Stock class title where he led start to finish. Baker was impressive all week long running up front with all of the pros in the 4-stroke open and the Collegeboy classes. He finished in the top 5 in both classes; claiming 2nd in Collegeboy and 4th in the 4-stroke class. The week was going along well. He was going into his second week in Texas, Oak Hill with a lot of confidence and momentum; that is until the gate dropped for the 250 B Stock class where Baker got out of the gate well but ended up on the ground in the first. The crash resulted in an elbow injury and ending his run at a few more titles.

New to the PanicRev Ministries team in 2008 is Cameron Rodriguez; PanicRev is really excited to have Rodriguez on board. He has shown that he has the speed and talent to run with the top guys in his class the last few years. Whitney was no different in 2008; Rodriguez showed what he had in the 450 B class finishing a strong 5th in the Mod class and 4th in the Stock. Cameron’s best ride of the week came out of the 450 B Stock class where he finished on the box in 3rd. He was one of the few guys that took advantage of the new AMA rule allowing 250cc 2-stroke to run the 250 class.

The PanicRev Ministries Team would also like to acknowledge the great rides and hard work of team riders Mark Samuels, Vicki Golden, and Jon Hornbeck at both the Lake Whitney and Oak Hill Amateur national.

A special thanks also goes out to all of the PanicRev Minstries team sponsors: MRS, Pro-Tec, Factory Backing, Mx Identity, SixSixOne, Sunline, Deluge, AC Racing and Pro Taper.
