O2 Arena All Set for Big Finale British Supercross Championships 23rd Feb

With only a week to go ticket sales are selling rapidly for the final round of the Future West ACU British Supercross Championships. Tickets are not the only hot item on the agenda the competition will also be intense for the final round at The O2 Arena, London on Saturday February 23rd. 

Former British Supercross champion, Relentless Suzuki's Lewis Gregory is all set to race at London after missing Liverpool with a pair of twisted wrists, sustained whilst training in Spain. Gregory initially thought his wrists were broken; thankfully he has been given the all clear. Gregory has been in the gym for the last few weeks and is determined to be back in the saddle at London. 

Newcomer to British Supercross, Canadian Kris Foster broke a toe at Liverpool on the Saturday night after taking a spectacular win in Friday's Pro Light's main event and he will be back at London. Another "First time Canuck" and head-to-head specialist Lee Coutts from Vancouver British Columbia is hopeful for London after cracking a bone in his right hand at Liverpool.

Pro Open points leader and current British outdoor champion Mike Brown of CAS Honda is rumoured to be riding a 250f in the open class at London in preparation for the outdoor season, which should make things even more interesting. 

Canadian and crowd favourite Kyle Beaton will make a return to British Supercross for the first time since Cardiff in 05. Beaton will be back on board a Dixon Racing YZ250f taking advantage of a break in the US West Coast Supercross series, where he has been competing since claiming the Pro Open and Pro Lights Canadian Arena-cross Championships.

Riding alongside Beaton on Dixon Yamaha's will be fellow countrymen Colton Facciotti and Jean Sebastien Roy who are first and second in the Pro Lights British Supercross standings, as well as Dixon's newest signing South African David Goosen who opened more than a few eyes at Liverpool.

Canadian Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Brock Hoyer will make his British Supercross debut at The O2 London riding a DK Off-road Kawasaki in both Pro classes. South African Neville Bradshaw will be hoping to get back on the podium as he did at Liverpool onboard his MXW Honda.

Also returning to the series is Norway's Per Kristian Bakke who made the finals in the Pro Lights class on both nights in Liverpool. The British contingent will be headed by former British Supercross and outdoor champion Carl Nunn riding a SUSO Motovision Suzuki. PAR Homes Honda rider Ashley Greedy, currently 3rd in the Pro Open points standings and destined to be one of the Supercross stars of the future, will be back to try and grab the bucket full of cash in the head-to-head racing as he did at Liverpool, which had the fans on there feet. 

Other notable Brits include Nigel Arnold KTM's Luke Remmer along with other KTM riders Carl Brogden and Bradley Turner. It is a night not to be missed as the next event will not be until October the 25th at Sheffield later this year.
