More On Morongo: Why It's the Perfect Venue for the AMA Supermoto Season Finale

Cabazon, CA - Looking to just pull up a seat and spend all day watching the incredible supermoto action during Troy Lee's "Mayhem at the Morongo", November 9-11?

Betcha can't.

That's because nobody sits still at the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa, an unbelievable 4-Diamond destination resort that's loaded with entertaining distractions for those occasional moments when you'd like a break from the racing.

Of course there's the gaming. At almost 150,000 square feet, Morongo Casino has one of the largest gaming floors on the west coast, or west of Vegas for that matter. In addition to a couple thousand slot machines, there are 100 table games, plus a private 22-table poker room, all with friendly dealers and great payouts.

Anybody in your group enjoy shopping? (If you're married, that's a trick question.) Just down the street from Morongo are two massive outlet malls: the Desert Hills Premium Outlets and Cabazon Outlets, with nearly 150 stores between them featuring a who's who of designers and brand names.

Morongo's latest addition is what has been called "the Lamborghini of bowling centers." Canyon Lanes at Morongo features 24 lanes, a Bose high-tech sound system, amazing lighting, and room for 12 bowlers on each lane (how dey do dat?).

And the food and nightlife at Morongo can't be touched. Award-winning restaurants and mind-boggling dance clubs, one of which claims to have the world's largest disco ball (yes, it's enormous).

Who has time to watch motorcycle racing?

Well, you'd better make time, brother, because Troy Lee's "Mayhem at the Morongo" promises to be a hotly contested season-ending doubleheader, with the series champions by no means being decided until race weekend. And remember, it's a Troy Lee event, which means the agenda will be packed with plenty of extras to more than satisfy both racing fans and supermoto newcomers just looking for a goodtime weekend.

Preceding the weekend pro double-header, a promoter practice kicks things off on Thursday, November 8th, with a complete amateur race day on Friday, November 9th. Then it's the much anticipated pro double-header event, as the penultimate round of the 2007 AMA Pro Supermoto series takes place on Saturday, November 10th with the Pro Championship Final being decided the following day, Sunday November 11th.

Extensive event details and schedules can be found at www.troyleedesigns.com. Information on all aspects of this event will be flowing steadily so please pay attention to the TLD website and the motorcycle press in the coming weeks.
