Moose Racing - On The Podium

Regardless of the racing discipline, leading a championship points
chase is never easy. Tyler Bowers proved this last weekend inside the
Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa where the 11th round of the
AMA Arenacross series took place. This stop of the series featured
back-to-back nights of racing and a chance for Bowers to really open up
a lead heading into the home stretch of the series.

Friday night’s main event didn’t get off to the start Bowers was
hoping for when he found himself outside of the top five in the early
stages. He methodically began working his way through the pack and with
a handful of laps remaining he was sitting in second place behind Jeff
Gibson. Bowers stalked Gibson for a few laps before making his move for
the lead shortly after receiving the white flag. He stole the position
and would quickly open up a one second gap en route to his seventh
consecutive and hardest fought win of the year.

The following night, Bowers got off to a much better start and had
already moved into the lead by the halfway point of the race.
Throughout the remainder of the 25-lap main event, Bowers would open up
a five second lead and take his eighth straight victory. With this win,
Bowers is now 46 points ahead of the closest competitor in the overall
standings and ties his nine race win record from last season.

Bowers will be going for his 10th win this coming weekend when the series arrives at the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Ark.

Lemoine has quietly been having one of his best seasons to date. He has
consistently been in the top 10 at all of the Lites East Supercross
events and he earned a season-best fourth place finish this past
weekend in Jacksonville, Fla. We caught up with Matt to talk about his
