Moose Racing – On The Podium

This
weekend marked the start of the highly-competitive GNCC series with the
ATV racers kicking off the four-day season opener on Sunday in River
Ranch, Fla. Moose Racing riders didn’t disappoint with Patrick McGuire,
Braden Henthorn, and Eric Hoyland sweeping the GNCC ATV XC2 class.
Despite extended downpouring on Friday and Saturday, the trio survived
the tough conditions to start the season off right. Also fighting the
elements and claiming victory in the ATV Women’s class was Moose
Racing’s Angel Atwell. After narrowly missing the Women’s championship
last year, she is off to a great start in 2012. For the riders competing
in Tuesday’s GNCC Bike opening round, Moose Racing wishes all our
riders the best of luck.

The
same torrential rains that made for an interesting GNCC course were
making for an interesting night of racing on Saturday at the Daytona
International Speedway, the site of the historical Daytona Supercross.
In only his second start this season of the AMA Supercross Series, Moose
Racing’s Tyler Bowers braved the conditions to transfer directly to the
main from his heat and finish 14th on the night. Fellow Moose Racing
rider Phil Nicoletti had a stellar heat race, finishing third, but
troubles in the main event put him out early, finishing 20th.
