Moose Racing - On The Podium

This weekend provided exciting results from Moose Racing riders at the penultimate round of the Can-AM GNCC Racing series.
The Ironman, from Crawfordsville, Ind., presented the normal challenges
associated with the grueling off-road enduro events, but Josh Strang,
Jimmy Jarrett, and Scotty Watkins each pushed their way into the top-10
by day’s end.

Strang
entered the Ironman holding down second place in the championship point
standings. The reigning GNCC Champion knew he had to finish well to
keep the hopes of defending his title alive, but on the opening lap of
the race, misfortune struck, forcing Strang into the pits with a broken
foot peg and sending him to the back of the pack. Strang refused to give
up, and battled through to the end, fighting his way to fourth and
salvaging valuable points in his championship fight.

Jarrett
performed consistently throughout the race, ultimately leading to a
season-best fifth-place finish, while Watkins continued to improve after
missing most of the season with an injury, showing impressive speed en
route to a seventh-place effort.

The
WORCS Racing (ATV) series was also in action this past weekend from
Racetown 395 in Adelanto, Calif. Moose Racing rider Josh Fredrick moved
through the pack following a top-five start, to grab his third win of
the season, and move his Can-Am into the points lead. With only one
round remaining, Fredrick now holds a four point lead in the standings.
