Millsaps and Brayton Top Ten at Anaheim Supercross Opener

Camarillo, CA (Jan.11,2016) –  It was a strong start to the season for Team BTO Sports this past weekend as the motorsport community gathered in Anaheim, CA for the first round of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross series. It was go time for team riders Davi Millsaps and Justin Brayton as they battled to both finish inside the top ten.

Davi Millsaps was ready to turn up the heat at the opening round.  He would make his way in to the main event through the semi, as he just missed out on a transfer spot in his heat race.  Millsaps would utilize his good gate pick in his semi and the explosive power of the FMF Racing exhaust system to round the first turn in the front pack and finishing in 3rd. Millsaps would overcome a mid-pack start in the main event, battling his way to the front.  He would put on a late race charge and finish the night in 8th place.

“I’m happy with tonight and how I rode” Millsaps said. “I made it through the first round with a top ten and now looking forward to next week and improving from here on out.”

Justin Brayton came out of the gate swinging in his heat race, as he would make a last minute pass to grab 4th and the final transfer spot to the main event. He would continue swinging in to the main, as his WP Factory Services tuned suspension allowed him to battle up through the field and in to the top ten. At the checkered flag, Brayton would hold down 10th at the end of the night.

“Overall today was a success” Brayton said. “I felt good out there.  I am excited for the season and ready to battle inside the top 5.”
