Merge Gets ALJ Patent Published

Merge Racing Technologies is proud to announce that their patent application for the Merge ALJ (Adjustable Leak Jet) was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 6th, 2008.

“Creating the adjustable leak jet and then having great riders and teams have success with it on the track has made for a very exciting inaugural year,” states Jim Lewis of Merge. “This next step in the patent process is icing on the cake.”

“It has been a wild ride, from Mike Alessi hitting the podium in Colorado the first time he ever raced with the Merge ALJ, to outfitting 23 KTM’s at the MXoN, to Pat Brown winning the ATV National at Steel City, to Chad Johnson, Brock Sellards and Kelly Smith dominating Arenacross, to Kevin Windham winning two Supercross races with the Merge ALJ.”

The Adjustable Leak Jet is a bolt on product for all FCR four stroke carburetors that eliminates four stroke "bog" and allows for easy adjustability for temperature, altitude and track conditions. The ALJ makes life easy for all of the race teams that use it and have proved its performance at racing's highest levels.
