Marketplace Events Reveals Plans for American International Motorcycle Expo in 2013

LONG BEACH,Calif.
(January 18, 2012) – On the heels of Marketplace Events’ announcement
regarding Larry Little’s new role as the company’s Vice President &
General Manager, Motorcycle Group, a brand new initiative was announced
on Tuesday, revealing plans to develop the American International
Motorcycle Expo (AIME). The event signifies Marketplace Events’ foray
into the motorcycle marketplace, set to take place in Fall 2013, with
the purpose to serve as the catalyst to bring together the entire
two-wheel industry in a single arena that creates a grand stage for
motorcycling in the U.S. and North America, while delivering an
efficient and energetic market-timed expo platform for
business-to-business and business-to-consumer in the motorcycle
industry.

The
Sky Room, in Downtown Long Beach, provided a picturesque backdrop for
one of the biggest announcements in the motorcycle marketplace for 2013
and beyond.

Marketplace
Events CEO Tom Baugh provided a background on the strong line of
success in consumer expos the company has achieved under his leadership –
highlighted by home shows in 21 major markets.  Marketplace Events is
perfectly positioned to provide a solid foundation for the new AIME
venture.

Marketplace Events VP & GM, Motorcycle Group, Larry Little

Little,
a longtime executive within the motorcycle industry, shared the vision
for AIME with his associates from the media and marketplace on Tuesday
evening. His decades of experience are an invaluable asset to the
continued progression of the new expo.

AIME is a trade and consumer show for the motorcycle industry, timed to
align with the annual reveal of new motorcycles, aftermarket products,
safety equipment, and accessories to the press, motorcycle dealers, and
consumers.  It is intended to create a greater efficiency for the
industry to conduct business with retailers, promote new product to the
press and consumers, while creating a heightened interest for
motorcycling as both sport and as a viable, green transportation
alternative.

The
motorcycle industry was well represented at The Sky Room on Tuesday.
The announcement offered a chance for all in attendance to get an
exclusive look at what Marketplace Events has in store to re-energize
the two-wheel landscape.

Simply
put, the American International Motorcycle Expo is the single most

international impact within the motorcycling community.
