Press Release

MDK/Lucas Oil and Wonder Warthog Racing Shine in San Francisco

Newbury Park, CA (January 28, 2007) - Under ominous skies at AT&T Park, Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) Interns Chris Blose and Adam Chatfield silenced the skeptics in the city by the bay as both riders leaped into the Lites main event.

Adding to the team’s accomplishments, Vernon McKiddie represented the DeCal Works/P-LoK Hog Haven in the Lites class, bringing the number of main event entrants to six for the season.

Jacob Saylor just missed transferring.  He holeshot the Supercross class LCQ on his MDK Speed built Yamaha which was also equipped with Michelin tires, Barnett clutches components, and a Rollon throttle assembly.  Jacob almost transferred out of his heat too, missing it by one spot.

All main event riders were attired in O’Neal gear, including the Interns, who sported striking special edition WWR jerseys.

“Well, we made it to the main, boys” said Dana “K” Kellstrom to Adam, Chris, and Vernon as he wished them good luck in the final.  They didn’t disappoint, as they finished 12th, 14th, and 19th, respectively.

Because of muddy conditions, the bikes required more attention than usual.  Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) interns shifted into overdrive as they assisted the crew in readying the 9 race machines that were qualified for the night program.

The qualified rider roster this week included Antonio Balbi, Chris Blose, Charles Castloo, Adam Chatfield, Ryan Grantom, Ramon Guzman, Clay Higgins, and Vernon McKiddie, and Jacob Saylor.

The next stop on the 2007 Hog Haven Tour will be Saturday, February 3rd at Anaheim Stadium.  Hog Haven apparel can be purchased at the LiveNation merchandise trailer in the pits or at www.smoothindustries.com. All WWR proceeds go towards funding their privateer support programs.  Drop in to visit the entire team at www.mymotospace.com/wwr
