Legends & Heroes Tour to Honor Moto Ambassador, American Soldier & Industry leader, John Wolven aka  “Johnny O’Hannah”, at the Indy Supercross!

Regarded as one of the “Good Guys” in motocross, John Wolven has
amassed over 20 years of moto fun and experience in the industry.  For
his growth, contributions and accomplishments, John is being honored
this Saturday, March 17, 2012 the 10th round of the 2012 Monster Energy
AMA Supercross Series at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.



Wolven began racing in the upstate New York area, cutting his teeth at
tracks like Broome Tioga as a District #34 racer.  He left the area to
join the military in 1991.  John was part of Americas finest as a
soldier in Desert Storm.  With five deployments to Kuwait and Iraq for
Desert Storm and Desert Shield under his belt, John is a retired Veteran
of the Navy & Army as an officer.  He has had numerous awards to
include Combat Infantry and the Bronze Star.  He has worked for the FBI,
DEA, US Customs, Executive Office of the President and the Office of
National Drug Control.



With all of these accomplishments, this true American never forgot his
roots and has given his time to help promote the great sport of
Supercross and Motocross. His degree in Radio & TV broadcasting has
helped him progress in the moto worlds.

Moroz and Mike Owens managing partners of the Legends & Heroes Tour
state “What is most impressive is John ‘s enthusiasm and willingness to
help support our sport.  He’s been an avid vintage officanato and has
been very creative in developing his character Johnny O’Hannah, who
brings to light the great history our sport has to offer.  John is one
of the good guys who served his country proudly and has his DNA
entrenched in our great sport.  We are proud to be a part of honoring
him this weekend. Five tours later, John came home a wounded vet, but
quickly took up his reignas moto ambassador spreading the word of moto
history, developing his place in the industry and getting our sport to
the next level”.



Mr. Wolven is currently announcing Outdoor Nationals for MX Sports and Host of the Post Race press conferences.

 


John Wolven will be at the Legends
& Heroes Tour Moto Museum exhibition at the Lucas Oil Stadium in
Indy this Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 3:00pm for a “Meet & Greet”
with the fans.

About the Tour

The Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour is a professional
historical display and time-line of Americas greatest motorsport.  The
tour includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The project was
conceived by a dedicated group of Motocross Enthusiasts who, over the
years, have discovered the value of the rich 40+ years of Motocross
legacy and its impact on the American motorsports history. “The
dedication and passion of the sport has brought the Legends & Heroes
Motocross Tour to the next level of sharing this legacy, the history of
the machines and men, as well as the women of Motocross. The history of
the Classic Iron and its' champions is a dynamic model ever changing.
We see this rich history as a great learning lab for all ages” according
