Lange Tops-Off Championship Season With Two Final Round Wins

Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki Rider Finishes Season In Uncasville

IRVINE, Calif. (February 12, 2007) – After clinching the BooKoo Arenacross Championship last week, Team Babbit’s Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Darcy Lange finished the season strong with two wins in the 450 class over the weekend at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Even with the championship secured, Lange came into the final round ready to prove he was still there to race. He had the fastest qualifying time in the 450 class on both Friday and Saturday along with winning every heat race he entered. During Saturday’s 250 class race, Lange had the crowd on their feet as he battled back from last place to second-place, just bike lengths behind the leader as the checkered flag flew.

Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jeff Northrop, who had missed several rounds due to injury, earned a solid third place finish in the 450 class on Friday.
