KTM's Michael Hall Injured at Oak Hill

Decatur, TX – KTM Factory Junior SX/MX rider, Michael Hall, was injured yesterday during the 32nd Oak Hill GNC Amateur National.

Hall who has been in Texas the past few weeks training and then competing at the Lake Whitney and Oak Hill Amateur National events was injured yesterday during the 125 A Modified moto.

The 125 A Modified class was set to be Hall’s first race of the week at Oak Hill. Hall, who would have been a threat for a front spot, got off to a good start but soon found himself at the bottom of a first turn pile up. The crash injured his back and broke a few of his lower ribs.

Hall flew back to his hometown in Murrieta, CA today and is safe at home recovering from the crash. It is estimated that he will be out for approximately four weeks at this point. “I felt really good about racing at Oak Hill and was hoping to finish inside the top three. I am upset that I was injured but I hope to be back in time for the World Mini Grand Prix in Las Vegas this April,” commented Hall. “Although I am now at home recovering, I will still be cheering for my orange teammates to run up front and win some championships for our team this weekend.”
