KTM Announces New Factory Service and Contingency Program

Murrieta, CA – KTM North America, Inc. is proud to announce the KTM Factory Service and Contingency Program for 2010.

The KTM Factory Service program is designed to help amateur and privateer riders level the playing field when racing against the factory equipment. Now all riders have the chance to purchase the same motor and suspension that the KTM factory riders race each weekend.

Riders can contact their nearest KTM dealer to purchase the KTM Factory Service equipment. KTM dealers will take the riders existing suspension and motor and send it to the KTM factory where all work will be preformed by the same race technicians that work on the factory bikes.

This year if you are a privateer rider and run the Factory Services stickers on your shrouds and fork legs you will be eligible for KTM contingency at the professional level in Supercross, Motocross and Arenacross. Factory Services stickers will be available to riders at the race to display on their bikes.

KTM’s new pro contingency program has a total available payout of nearly $2,000,000. It awards contingency to all 20 riders to make the Supercross main event, the top 40 riders in the Motocross main and the top five in Arenacross. For both Motocross and Arenacross, riders can collect contingency per moto.

Contingency Breakdown:

Motocross (per moto): 1st-20th - $600, 21st-40th - $400
