John Burr Cycles Claims 17th Consecutive Yamaha Dealer Series Title at Glen Helen Raceway










  • John Burr Cycles of Fontana, CA clinched their 17th consecutive Yamaha
    Dealer Series title during Sunday’s 2011 Yamaha Dealer Series finals.


  • JBC’s top competition, Honda/Yamaha of Redlands, finished the series in second.


  • Both HYR and Del Amo Motorsports have vowed to end JBC’s dynasty in 2012.




San Bernardino, Calif. - June 15, 2011 - John Burr
Cycles clinched their 17th consecutive Yamaha Dealer Series title during
Sunday’s thrilling conclusion to the 2011 Yamaha Dealer Series at Glen
Helen Raceway. JBC supporters were out in force for the series finals,
and helped the Fontana-based dealer continue their incredible winning
streak by scoring a total of 525 points for the day, bringing their
grand total to a whopping 2,201 points accumulated over 4 rounds.



Honda/Yamaha of Redlands, JBC’s primary competition throughout the 2011
series, continued to pour on the pressure during Sunday’s final round,
but their score of 1,882 points wasn’t enough to bring the JBC dynasty
to an end. Both HYR and Del Amo Motorsports of Redondo Beach have vowed
to dethrone JBC in next year’s series.
