Press Release

Jeremy Vanhorebeek to Miss Turkish MX GP

KTM Factory Junior racer, Jeremy Vanhorebeek, will miss the 3rd round of the FIM MX World championship in Turkey this weekend due to an injury sustained to his right shoulder at the Bulgarian GP last week.

‘The Jerre’ launched his 09 MX2 campaign with a second place finish at  the opening round in Faenza and looked to be a surprise title candidate after the Italian mud bath.

The two time Belgian MX2 champ still remains optimistic about returning to racing in Valkenswaard: “I crashed hard on the shoulder in Sevlievo in the qualifying race and have aggravated an old injury.  It’s been a tough call to make but my doctor has advised me that the shoulder needs to rest and if all goes well I should be cleared for the Dutch GP.  I’m doing everything possible to speed up the healing process as well as keep up my fitness levels.  I don’t know if I can watch the race on Freecaster this weekend, knowing that I should be there fighting with those guys.”
