Jarryd McNeil Medals In Best Whip Competition

Australia’s own Jarryd McNeil celebrated his 19^th
birthday in style by winning the Silver Medal in the “Best Whip”
competition at X Games 16 in Los Angeles, California. Although he was
part of Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus Tour down-under, he stunned
the American audience with his repertoire combining classic old
school whips with his own innovations like the one-handed launch and
near 360-degree tailspins!

has always been a dream of mine to compete on the big stage,” says
the affable Aussie. “I am very grateful that Travis Pastrana put in
a good word with the X Games organizers to help me gain an invite to
X Games, and for having me on the Nitro tour.” Jarryd also gave a
