Press Release

It’s A DRD Triple Play

DRD wins in Colorado, San Bernardino and Mammoth

DRD/American Honda rider Ashley Fiolek remained perfect in claiming her third overall win of the season on Saturday evening at round three of the AMA/WMA Women's National Motocross Championship. After winning the first moto, Fiolek finished third in moto two to take the overall victory in the first-ever WMA night race.

"I'm happy to take the overall tonight," explained Fiolek. "The first moto was a lot of fun with Tarah (Gieger) right behind me. She was pushing me the entire race. In the last moto, I didn't get as good a start as I'd like so I tried to just ride smart and smooth. I still can't believe how this season is going." Ashley now leads the WMA championship standings by 32 points .

Minutes after Ashley took the checkered flag in Colorado nearly 1500 miles away in San Bernardino CA, DRDs Mark Tilley kept the winning going at Glen Helen's annual 12 hour endurance race. The DRD/Dirt Bike Magazine backed CRF450 powered into the lead up Mount St. Helens at the 3 hour mark and would never relinquish the lead for the duration of the race .

Tilley said after the finish “I can’t say enough about my team; Benny and Matt stepped up huge when they needed to, my DRD pipe and motor held up strong without missing a beat all day long witch was a major part of this win”.” I would just like to thank all the people who helped out at the race from my pit crew to the great sponsors that back me all year long."

The DRD winning momentum steam rolled into Sunday at the Mammoth Mountain Motocross. Travis Baker, Westen Peick, and Taylor Bittner finished off the weekend with a stellar performance making a DRD sweep of the podium at the 40th annual Mammoth Mountain Motocross . Look for these young stars of the intermediate class to be at the front of amateur national standings for the remainder of the year.
