January 18, 2010 - Woodcliff Lake, NJ - Are you attending the Dealer Expo in Indianapolis on February 13-15? Dealers are encouraged to stop by the Husqvarna Motorcycles NA display for a first-hand look at the all new 630 TE and 630 SM models. "This will be the first appearance in the U.S. for both of the big bikes" notes Husqvarna Motorcycles North America President Mark Brady. "We will be showing off exciting new products and looking forward to meeting new dealers in Indianapolis."

New product combined with the legendary Husqvarna heritage and one of the best retail financing programs in the entire industry helped the brand buck the 41% sales decline experienced by the rest of the U.S. motorcycle market in 2009. "Husqvarna retail sales were up 9% compared to 2008 - an increase driven by our 250cc model range," adds Brady.

Husqvarna has really hit its stride since the historic brand was acquired by BMW a little more than two years ago, celebrating the production of the 25,000th motorcycle last October and inaugurating a massive new R&D facility in the Varese region of Northern Italy. "The backing from BMW's financial arm has really been a boon to our dealers," says Stacy Clark, Husqvarna's Dealer Development manager.

"In addition to 6.99% retail financing, BMW Financial services also enables us to maintain very strong wholesale financing programs on the back end," she explains. "I am really looking forward to meeting with potential Husqvarna dealers to cover our competitive advantages."

Speaking of competition, Husqvarna will also be announcing a strong contingency program in conjunction with the Dealer Expo as well as re-entering the AMA National Enduro Series in 2010 after a 20-year hiatus from woods racing. "We are looking forward to bringing back Husqvarna as the leader in all forms of off-road racing," notes Sales & Marketing Manager/Racing Chief Scot Harden. "We have competitive machines, a comprehensive contingency program and most importantly for the dealers, the means to finance motorcycle sales!"

Look for the huge Husqvarna display in Booth #1934 as part of the Italian Pavilion during the Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, or call Stacy Clark at (201) 802-4515 to schedule an appointment during the trade.
