Press Release

Honda of Houston Results Ponca City Loretta Lynn's 2011‏

2011
One Hot Summer

Every year seems like it is the hottest year ever, but I think in the
winter it seems like it is the coldest year ever. I guess in life, it is all
about right now, just like in racing; you are only as good as your last moto.

Everybody here has been working extremely hard getting ready for Ponca City and Loretta
Lynn’s. It feels like it was just a couple weeks ago that we were driving
back from Mammoth, I think that is probably because it was. The preparation for
these two events is like no other, not just because of the heat, but because
you are always being tested when you have that much racing jammed into two
weeks. The stress level just goes through the roof. But in the end when you can
walk away with some great progress and some great finishes, it is pretty much
worth it.

The motocross families put so much into this sport, I am so glad that
our team is able to put just as much back and we are able to see the success of
such great families. There is not another sport in the world where a family is
so involved.

Honda of Houston has been committed to the sport of Amateur motocross
for 15 years. I don’t think it would be fair to say that this was the
best year ever at Loretta Lynn’s but it was one of the most successful.
Two Amateur National Titles at Loretta Lynn’s is like a dream. But a
dream that is achieved after all the hard work of everybody here. From Naveen
and all the guys in the race shop to Dave and Nick and all the guys at the store
that really have to work harder when we are gone, to the riders that put in the
long motos and days working out. I am extremely proud to be part of all this,
and blessed to be able to continue with the race team in these trying times.

Thanks everybody for your hard work and support!
