Honda launches Pro Uniform range

Honda has today launched a new range of clothing for all racing teams running Honda machinery. Honda Pro Uniform, as the range is called, has been designed for race teams from grass roots level upwards to convey a professional image and enable them to look and feel part of the wider Honda racing family.

Honda Pro Uniform is identical to the clothing that will be worn by Honda’s factory squad, Team HRC, in the 2013 Dakar rally; but, unlike most race-wear on the market, it will be offered with substantial discounts, with teams then able to add their own sponsor logo patches.

Honda has contracted with UK-based race clothing specialist Dread, who will manage the ordering and delivery process. As well as a selection of team shirts, jackets, caps and trousers, the comprehensive Honda Pro Uniform range also incorporates hats, bags and other accessories vital for a professional racing image.

Honda Motor Europe’s manager of motorcycle sport, Robert Watherston, commented: “This is an exciting initiative to enable grass roots motocross and road racing teams to present a professional branded image on their team clothing without spending a fortune.”

He added: “In order to qualify for the substantial discounts that Honda’s purchasing power can obtain, teams simply have to run Honda machinery in their racing programmes. It doesn’t matter what level of racing they’re involved in.”

The entire Honda Pro Uniform range can be viewed atwww.HondaProUniform.comwhere a simple registration process will allow individual discounted orders to be placed in time for the 2013 racing season.
