Glen Helen Raceway Presents the FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup United States as Part of Grand Prix Weekend
San Bernardino, Calif. - April 8, 2011 - In addition to the 2011 Monster Energy Grand Prix of the United States and the World Amateur Championship, Glen Helen Raceway is excited to host the Vet World Cup Championship on Saturday, May 14th. America's Playground in Southern California will be full of riders and fans from around the world for a race weekend like no other. The FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup United States will take place on the USGP Track on Saturday, May 14th. FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup United States practice will run from 8:40am to 9:10am with a maximum of 50 riders. A timed practice for the Vet will start at 11:00am and end at 11:30am. There will be two motos for the FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup United States at Glen Helen. Race 1 begins at 3:10pm with a sighting lap at 3:00pm. Race 2 starts at 6:00pm with the sighting lap at 5:50pm. Each moto will be 20 minutes plus 2 laps. There is a maximum of 40 riders per moto. Glen Helen will also be presenting prizes to the winners of the FIM Veteran Motocross World Cup United States in a special ceremony that will take place immediately following Race 2.
