Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Storm Lake Honda Scores First Podium for 2011 - 2012 Arenacross Season

Advance, NC - (November 8, 2011)
The second round of the 2011 - 2012 Arenacross Series took place at the
First Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland with the Foremost Insurance
Spinechillers Storm Lake Honda Team taking their first heat race win of
the season and podium finish in the Arenacross class with Nathan Skaggs
finishing in 3rd place on Saturday night. In AX Lites, last year's Lites
East Champion Patrick Massie struggled with a wrist injury and failed
to qualify.

The weekend was the first
double-header of the season with racing on Friday and Saturday night.
Nathan was fast all weekend qualifying 2nd on Friday and finishing 5th
in the main event. On Saturday he qualified 3rd, won his heat race and
finished in 3rd place. Willy Browning qualified in 13th on Friday and
finished in 10th place in the main event. On Saturday he qualified in
8th place, he crashed in his heat race and then had to advance to the
LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier). He worked his way from last to 4th in the
LCQ but unfortunately they only take the top two for the main event.

"We had a better weekend in Baltimore
with Skaggs winning his heat race and getting on the podium in
Saturday's main event. The team had more time on the bikes which helped.
Skaggs definitely was feeling comfortable this weekend setting some
very fast lap times. Browning and Massie had their challenges. Browning
struggled with crashing and Massie is nursing an injury which is hurting
his performance," commented team owner Dallas Avery.
