Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Honda of Fairfield Scores Four Top Ten Spots in Dayton Ohio

Slippery Conditions Cause Problems for Skaggs and Ames

Advance, NC - (January 24, 2011)
The Foremost Insurance Spinechillers Honda of Farifield Team put four
of their riders in top ten positions despite less than ideal track
conditions in Dayton's Nutter Center. The finishes were little
consolation for the team as this was a race in front of a hometown
audience and they had hoped to post stronger results.

Zach Ames had the best qualifying position for the team in the AX class with a 4th place, he was directly followed by Willy Browning in 5th and Nathan Skaggs in 6th. Patrick Massie qualified in 5th position, but in the AX Lites class.

In the AX heat races, Skaggs spun his wheels on the gate and came out next to last, he fought hard and worked his way up to a 6th place finish. Ames did the same thing as Skaggs with his start, but he worked his way up to 4th
in heat race two, he was followed by Browning who had a good start but
fell back after an aggressive pass by another rider, he finished 5th. In the Lites heat race Massie had a bad start but was able to work his way up to 4th place.

Patrick Massie got off to a 5th place start in the AX Lites main event but a few mistakes cost him valuable time, he was able to finish in 4th overall by the checkered flag.

Zach Ames had a great start in 2nd
place in the main event but he lost the front end and crashed in the
turn after the whoops. Browning got another good start right behind
Ames but the crash backed him up. Skaggs started the race in 5th
place but he also lost the front end later in the race and crashed
pretty hard. The team's final positions according to the Arenacross
staff had Ames in 7th, Skaggs in 8th and Browning in 9th place.

"We
had hoped to score stronger results this weekend following our
outstanding performance in Kansas. Unfortunately, we were not able to
deliver the goods in front of the hometown crowd. However, the team
still did a respectable job and we are highly motivated to do better
going into the next race," commented team owner Dallas Avery.
