Foremost Insurance Athletes To Compete In 10th Anniversary Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open

Justin Brayton and Teddy Maier are Both Foremost Sponsored Riders for the Event

Grand Rapids, Michigan (October 10, 2008) - Foremost Insurance is proud to announce that Justin Brayton and Teddy Maier will both be riding as Foremost Insurance sponsored riders at the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open event this Friday and Saturday, October 10-11. The event takes place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Saturday, October 18 from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.


Justin Brayton raced in the event last year and finished 8th overall, with an 8th place on Friday, and a 6th place on Saturday. Brayton finished 5th overall in the Moto X event at the X Games 14. Earlier this year Brayton placed third in Moto X event at the first ever Navy Moto X World Championships. He races for the MDK KTM team as a Lites rider in the Supercross and Outdoor Motocross Series.


Teddy Maier is filling in for Jim Neese. Neese was injured last weekend in a local race and was unable to make the event. Teddy Maier rode for the Ti Lube/Moto XXX Team in the Arenacross Series in 2008 and finished 4th overall.


Jim Neese is the owner of the Foremost Insurance Arenacross team and also one of the riders for the team. "Last year was my first time racing at the Rock Star Energy Drink U.S. Open and I really enjoyed the event. I am sorry that things didn't work out this year. I appreciate that Teddy stepped in on short notice and helped make sure that Foremost Insurance was represented at the event," commented Neese.


Both athletes will run the Foremost Insurance logo on their gear and Maier will also have the company's logo on his bike.
