Signature prime-time show pumps up the format with guest panel,
celebs and laughs.





LOS ANGELES - FUEL
TV, FOX Sports Media Group’s dynamic network for young males, today
announces the re-launch of its signature prime time show “The Daily
Habit.”
Beginning October 18, 2010 at 9:30pm ET/PT, new
episodes of the show feature a energetic opinion-driven panel format anchored
by long-time host Pat Parnell, plus one-on-one spotlights with the biggest
stars from sports and entertainment, and
electrifying in-studio musical
performances by established and buzz-worthy up-and-coming artists.





The revamped
“Daily Habit” marches to the frenetic pace of pop culture with a
mix of athletes, comedians and entertainment stars discussing anything and
everything, from the day’s craziest viral video to the latest celebrity
train wreck. The first week will feature a telling line-up of what’s to
come, including “Jackass 3D” cast members Johnny Knoxville, Bam
Margera, and Wee-Man, plus musician Tommy Lee and skateboard legend Tony Hawk.
Also joining the show on the first week are pro snowboarder Ellery
Hollingsworth and pro skateboarder Terry Kennedy (BET’s “Being
Terry Kennedy”). Comedian Lance Krall also weighs in on the panel
discussions. Musical performances taped the first week include Good Charlotte,
Andrew WK, Frightened Rabbit, Gogol Bordello, and As I Lay Dying.







“For
the past five years, ‘The Daily Habit’ has been a staple in the
diet of our viewers,” says Scott Paridon, FUEL TV VP of Production and
Development. “We’re taking the show to the next level by getting
bigger celebrities and adding more comedy to the mix. Plus, we’re on a
new set and will have a live audience. We’re making this a show you
won’t want to miss every night!”





Since it began in October of
2005, “The Daily Habit” has interviewed the most jaw dropping
athletes in sports including two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Snowboarder Shaun
White, skateboard legend Tony Hawk, nine-time Surfing World Champ Kelly Slater,
pro skateboarder and MTV star Rob Dyrdek, motocross legend Travis Pastrana, and
more than a thousand others. Celebrity guests featured on the show included
Will Ferrell, Russell Brand, Jonah Hill, Mark Wahlberg, Sam Trammel, Jack
Black, Guy Ritchie, Henry Rollins, Jamie Kennedy, Jason Lee, Rob Zombie, Tom
Green and many others. Top musical acts have included MGMT, Public Enemy,
Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, 3Oh!3, Wolfmother, Blink 182, Nas &
Damian Marley and some of the most buzz-worthy artists in the world.
