FMF Athletes Take Home Six Medals at X Games 15

For the past fifteen years, the world’s best extreme athletes converge once a year to compete in the most exciting extreme competition in the world known as the X Games. FMF athletes were well represented in X Games 15 in almost all disciplines including Step Up, Best Trick, Moto X, FMX and Supermoto racing. At the conclusion of the event, FMF took home six medals with three gold’s, two silvers and one bronze.

Kicking off the event was Step up, and FMF’ Ronnie Renner did not disappoint. Renner, the only rider riding a two stroke, battled with Ricky Carmichael before Carmichael took a soil sample and could not continue, ending with the two riders sharing the gold medal.

Friday afternoon the Moto X Adaptive race was live on ESPN and these riders were exciting to watch! They are some of the most courageous athletes in X Games and FMF would like to congratulate Chris Ridgeway and Mike Shultz for going 1-2 for FMF Racing!

Night number two was Best Trick inside Staples Center and the anticipation was high as riders were bringing all new tricks to the event. The most anticipated trick of the night was FMF’s Travis Pastrana’s who attempted the “TP Roll.” Unfortunately Pastrana did not land it and was forced to sit out his second run. After most of his competitors were unable to land there tricks, FMF’s Kyle Loza was up last with the chance to take home the gold medal and that is exactly what he did. Loza landed the “Electric Doom” and took home his third gold in as many years!

Saturday the Home Depot Center hosted all the action including Moto Super X and FMX. In Moto Super X, KTM/FMF rider Justin Brayton took the silver medal. This was Brayton’s first X Games medal, so congrats JB! After the Moto Super X event, the FMX finals were set to begin. FMF’s Nate “Destroyer” Adams continued his medal streak and was able to capture a bronze medal.

FMF would like to congratulate all our athletes on a successful X Games. To learn more about FMF products please visit www.fmfracing.com
