Euro champ Joly joins GEICO Honda Endurcross riders Aaron, Redmond

LAS
VEGAS (Nov. 15) – GEICO Honda rider Geoff Aaron knows how important it
is to end the GEICO AMA Endurocross season on a high note is, and this
year it's doubly so.

"We
always look forward to the Vegas finale," Aaron said. "This year it's a
double points event so it's even more important to do well at this
race. I've been riding and training hard and I really hope to end solid
this year."

The
Endurocross finale takes place Saturday at the Orleans Arena just off
the legendary Las Vegas strip with Aaron just nine points behind Mike
Brown for second place in the season rankings.

Heading into this race, Aaron said he and the bike are as in tune as they have been all season.

"We've
made progress with the Hondas and have been slowly modifying and
changing things here and there," Aaron said. "Finally toward the end of
the season we've got our bikes as dialed in as they have been all year.
I'm pretty happy right now."

Aaron's
teammate Kyle Redmond is in eighth place in the standings and will be
looking to lock-in a spot in the top 10 in the final standings as he is
being closely pursued by Bobby Prochnou and Kevin Rookstool.

Joining
the GEICO Honda team, owned by JT and Gretchen Bennett, for this event
is 2011 World Enduro EJ (Jr.) Class champion Jeremy Joly of Montpellier,
France.

"I'm
very excited to ride a GEICO Honda. This is a great opportunity for
me," the 23-year-old Joly said. "This will be my first race in the U.S.
and I'm looking forward to competing against the best in the world, with
some of the best teammates a rider could ask for and a very gracious
team owner.

"It's
not going to be an easy race but I know that with the GEICO Honda and
the support of my regular sponsor, Freegun Underwear, I'll have
everything I need to do well."

Practice
and qualifying in Las Vegas gets under way at 9 a.m. PST from the
Orleans Arena. Opening ceremonies are slated to begin at 7:25 p.m. with
racing starting at 7:45 p.m.
