Entries Open and Tickets Available for 2012 GEICO EnduroCross Series

Las
Vegas opener is just around the corner

Irvine,
CA (Feb. 10, 2012) – Entries
are open and tickets are available for the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross
Series, presented by Lucas Oil. For the first time ever, the series
will kick off on Friday, May 4^th
at the Orleans Arena during the Monster Energy Supercross finals
weekend. On June 9^th,
the EnduroCross series will visit Sacramento, California for the
first ever Nor Cal event. These two opening rounds will also serve as
qualifiers for the 2012 X Games Enduro X, which will be round three
for the Expert riders.

The
EnduroCross series will then take a summer break before returning to
Ontario California, which was a big success during the first visit in
2011. Denver, Colorado will be next on the schedule followed by
Everett, Washington, Boise, Idaho and the traditional Las Vegas
finals. The series will increase from seven to eight events in 2012.

2011, we exposed the talent of some of the world’s best off road
riders to millions of people”, stated Mike Karsting, VP of Events

GEICO AMA EnduroCross Schedule

EnduroCross
tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a
Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud,
a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires
thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this
indoor off road racing will certainly keep you on your feet. For the
