EKS BRAND goggles has another amazing weekend

EKS BRAND goggles would like to congratulate the following athletes for an incredible weekend of racing.

Stephan Frossard 2nd, Evegny Bobrychev 6th, Rui Concalves 5th, MX-1 World motocross Champoinships

The first round of the World Motocross championships was held
over the weekend in Sevlievo Bulgaria. Frossard went out Saturday in
the qualifying session and destroyed the competition winning the top
spot over fellow EKS BRAND athlete, Team Honda's Evegny Bobrychev.
With EKS BRAND athletes sitting 1st and 2nd going into the first moto
on Sunday EKS BRAND was looking good.

When the gate dropped on Sunday, Frossard again shot to the number
one spot and waxed the competition bringing home his first, and EKS
BRANDS first ever Wold GP moto win! Rui Concalves and Bobrychev also
had good first moto rides.

When the gate dropped for the second moto it was EKS BRAND athlete Rui Concalves Factory Honda with the holshot. Frossard was
rounded the first lap just inside the top 10. After a few laps Frossard
made his way into the lead and was feeling the overall win. Just then a
small mistake found falling over and dropping to third. He made a mad
charge but came up just short finihsing the moto in 2nd and earning 2nd
overall for the day. Concalves and Bobrychev finished the day with an
impressive 5th and 6th overall!

Frossard is now tied for the points lead for the MX-1 Championships.

Zach Osborne 5th, Michael Leib DNS MX-2 World Motocross Championships.

EKS BRAND is proud to sponsor the ONLY two USA racers contesting the FIM World Championships this year!

As one of the favorites for the 2011 World Championships, EKS
BRAND athelete Zach Osborne was eager to get the first round underway.
Saturday qualifying saw Zach put his Factory Yamaha in a solid top five
position for Sunday's first moto.

Pre- race nerves hindered Zach a bit in the first moto and he rode
to a solid 7th place finish. Moto two saw the Zach that we all know. He
rode loose and charged to a very impresive 4th place finish, from a
poor start, giving him 5th overall for the day.

Factory Husqvarna racer Michal Leib went to Bulgaria fighting
an old injury. He went out for Saturday practice and actually logged
some very impressive lap times. Unfortunately the effects of the pre
race injury were just too much to overcome so Michael decided to sit
out this race to heal up to his full potential.

Josh Strang 2nd XC-1, Jason Thomas3rd XC-2, Big Buck GNCC, South Caralina.

EKS BRAND athelete Josh Strang took his point lead into the Big
Buck GNCC which he has had great results at for the past two years. A
slow start and a few mistakes on the first lap allowed the leaders to
get away. Josh made a hard charge but fell just short at the end
finishing 2nd overall. "I caught up with Charlie fairly easy there on
the last lap and I think I should have won it," said Strang. "I felt
good today but I just let those guys get away too much early on. I just
ran out of time and had too much distance to make up at the end."

In the MX-2 class, points leader, Team Husky's Jason Thomas was
battling with the lead pack but he also ran into some misfortunes,
running into a tree and hurting his toe. He never could catch the
leaders again and finished a solid 3rd on the day.
